Woman Faces Drug Charges After Heroin Overdose

Bucks County woman overdoses at motel, faces drug charges, police say.

Upper Macungie police say a Bucks County woman is facing drug charges after overdosing on heroin in a township motel Monday afternoon.

Police say they were called to the Lehigh Motor Inn on Memorial Road around 1:37 p.m. for a reported overdose.

Melanine Caccesse, 33, of Fairless Hills, had apparently overdosed, and was revived by paramedics and taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital for treatment. Police say Caccesse will be charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
