Woman Assaults Two People At Truck Stop, Police Say

Upper Macungie police say Allentown woman attacked her boyfriend and a woman who tried to intervene.

Upper Macungie police say an Allentown woman assaulted her boyfriend at the Trexler Plaza Truck Stop Saturday morning, then tried to attack an employee who tried to break up the fight.

Jeanine Schneck, 29, is charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct, DUI, harassment and driving with a suspended license.

According to police, officers were called to the truck stop on Tilghman Street around 7:40 a.m. for a report of a man and woman fighting.

Police say Schneck punched her boyfriend, a 41-year-old Allentown man, in the head several times and ripped out his hair. She also allegedly tried to assault a truck stop worker who attempted to intervene and tried to steal her boyfriend's tractor trailer.

Both victims refused medical treatment, police said.
