Wescosville Man Victim of Road Rage on 22, Police Say

A Wescosville man called state police after being 'rammed' on Route 22; Easton driver is charged, troopers report.

Andre Boyle, 24, of Wescosville was driving in the passing lane of Route 22 in Whitehall Township around 9 a.m. on Sept. 24 when he was passed on the right by an Easton man, police said. That other driver, Robert Napoli, 65, next intentionally swerved his Toyota truck and struck Boyle's Chevrolet near Route 145 in Whitehall.

The two drivers continued west on Route 22 while Boyle called Pennsylvania State Police. The two drivers stopped in the area of southbound Interstate 78 and Route 100, police said, although they were not specific as to whether police played any role in that.

Napoli will be charged with recklessly endangering another person and simple assault, police said.
