Wallets, Electronics Stolen in Car Break-Ins: Police

Upper Macungie Police are urging residents to make sure their homes and vehicles are locked up at night and to report any suspicious activity.

Upper Macungie police are investigating several reports of car break-ins overnight Saturday in the township.

Police said the thefts were reported in the 100 block of Lilac Drive and in the 100 block and the 200 block of Forsythia Lane.

A car break-in also was reported in the 6000 block of Hemlock Road between 12:10 a.m. and 12:35 a.m.

Wallets, electronics and credit cards were taken, police said. There was no forced entry into any of the vehicles.

One of the victims told police he saw a small, dark-colored vehicle driving through the Hemlock Road neighborhood around midnight Saturday.

Police are urging residents to make sure their homes and vehicles are locked up at night and to report any suspicious activity.
