Upper Macungie Police Station to Open Tomorrow

A ceremony to swear in new chief and two lieutenants will take place in addition to the opening of the new police station on Grim Road.

The new Upper Macungie police station is scheduled to open tomorrow with new chief, Lt. Joe Wilson and Lt. Mike Sitoski being sworn into duty.

The ceremony will take place at the new Upper Macungie police station at 37 Grim Road in Breinigsville.

The Aug. 20 opening, which was mandated by Upper Macungie supervisors, will allow the chief and his two lieutenants to begin work in the department, which officially opens for business at midnight Dec. 31, 2012.
