Cars Damaged in Route 100 Crash, Police Say

Upper Macungie Police said the two-car accident occurred Wednesday on Route 100 in Fogelsville.

Two Germansville women escaped unharmed following a two-car accident on Route 100 south at Wertman Road in Fogelsville, according to Upper Macungie Police.

Police said the 7:30 a.m. accident occurred when a car driven by Angela Shupp, 31, of Germansville, rear-ended a car driven by Debra Remaley, 53, of Germansville.

Police said Remaley told them she was stopping for traffic backed up at the Mohr Lane traffic light.

Police said Remaley's car suffered minor damage, but Shupp's car was towed from the scene.
