Two Unhurt in Monday Bypass Accident

The crash occurred at 7:45 p.m. at the intersection of Route 222 and Grim Road.

Upper Macungie Police said two people were unhurt in a rear-end crash at the intersection of Route 222 and Grim Road on Monday evening.

Police said a 2009 Dodge Journey driven by Todd Adam, 43, of Kutztown was traveling in the left lane on Route 222 and waiting to turn onto Grim Road.

Police said Adam's car was struck by Boris Heimbach, 79, of Bethlehem, who was driving a 2003 Chrysler Sebring.

Police said no one was hurt, although both cars were damaged.
