Two People Hurt in Route 100 Crash

Whitehall woman hospitalized after crash on Route 100.

Upper Macungie police say two people were hurt Monday morning in a crash on Route 100.

Police say the accident happened around 7:07 a.m. at Route 100 and Industrial Boulevard.

According to police, driver Henri Daniel, 20, of Allentown, was making a left from Route 100 north onto Industrial when he pulled into the path of John Murphy, 33, of Schuylkill Haven.

One of Daniel's passengers, Safa Kabi, of Whitehall, sustained a leg injury and was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest by Cetronia Ambulance. Police say she wasn't wearing a seat belt.

Daniel and his other passenger, Shamika Evans of Allentown, were both unhurt. Murphy sustained a wrist injury.

Police say Daniel will be cited for making an improper left turn.
