Two Injured in Route 100 Crash

The following information was supplied by Upper Macungie Police.

 

Two people were injured in an accident Monday morning on Route 100 at Penn Drive in Upper Macungie.

Police said Matthew Golligler, of Little Rock, Ark., and a passenger in his vehicle were taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest for evaluation of injuries.

The accident occurred at 6:50 a.m.

According to police, Golligler was traveling south on Route 100 and turned left to go onto Penn Drive, in front of a vehicle driven by Jonathan Haas of Schnecksville.

Haas' vehicle overturned on its side in the collision.

The crash is under investigation.

Traffic was able to move freely in the center and left lanes as workers cleared the right lane, police said.
