Thief Used Woman's Debit Card Number, Police Say

Upper Macungie police say someone used woman's card number at four stores in three counties.

Upper Macungie police say a township woman was the victim of debit card fraud this weekend, after someone got access to her card number.

According to police, the 21-year-old Wyndam Drive resident reported the theft Monday afternoon, saying her card number had been used at four stores on Saturday and Sunday.

Police say the card number was used at a Rite Aid in Nazareth, Weis supermarkets in Whitehall and Kutztown and the Wescosville Wawa.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 484-661-5911.
