Teen Girls Sexually Assaulted, Court Records Say

A 20-year-old man was charged with sexually assaulting several teen-age girls in Upper Macungie and South Whitehall over the last two years, according to court documents.

A 20-year-old Allentown man was charged with sexually assaulting several teen-age girls Upper Macungie and South Whitehall over the last two years, according to court documents.

Ryan Mellowship, of no known address, was charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, indecent assault and corruption of minors, court documents said.

Mellowship was arraigned Thursday by District Judge Jacob Hammond, who set bail at $300,000. He is already in Lehigh County Prison in a burglary case, according to The Morning Call.

Upper Macungie Township Det. Justin Wheeler was investigating an alleged child sexual abuse case in the township when he learned that Mellowship may have sexually abused other juveniles "in numerous jurisdictions in Lehigh County," the documents said.

Mellowship confessed to investigators and "also admitted to being sexually involved with several other juvenile females," a court document said.

He was 19 when he had sex with a 14-year-old girl in South Whitehall in July 2012, according to court records. 

The other girls were 13, 14 and 15, according to The Morning Call report.
