State Police Say Weisenburg Township Man Reports Home Burglary

Laptop computer stolen and water purification system damaged.

State Police at Fogelsville said a Weisenburg Township man reported a burglary of a desktop computer from his Tannery Road home.

State police said David Nivar reported the theft of a laptop computer, valued at approximately $300, from his home sometime between late Feb. and March 12.

Nivar also told police the alleged intruder also attempted to steal a parts of a water purification system from his home, causing $200 worth of damage to the system.

State police ask anyone with knowledge of the crime to contact them at 610-395-1438.

-- State Police a Fogelsville also reported a 16-year-old female from Macungie Township was charged with retail theft on March 12 at Kohl’s Department store at 6900 Hamilton Blvd. in Lower Macungie Township.

Police said the accused juvenile placed a pair of sunglasses, shorts and a shirt into a handbag and left the store without paying for them.

The case was referred to District Judge Charles Crawford.
