Snowy Roads Lead to Two Crashes in Upper Macungie

No injuries reported in pair of Upper Macungie crashes.

Upper Macungie police reported two motor vehicle crashes that happened during Tuesday's snowstorm.

The first accident happened around 8:25 a.m. on Route 222, when Jenny Hernandez, 44, of Allentown, slid into a traffic island when trying to turn onto Grim Road. Hernandez was unhurt, but police said her SUV was towed from the scene by Getz Towing.

The second crash happened about an hour later on Cetronia Road, when Ronald Landis, 62, of Macungie, slid off the road when rounding a curve and hit a tree. Landis was uninjured, police said, but his car was towed from the scene by Faust Towing.
