Reward Will Be Offered for Information on Slain Alburtis Women

Pennsylvania State Police will release the details of the reward on Thursday.

Pennsylvania State Police will announce the details on Thursday of a reward for information that leads to the arrest of the killers of Althea and Jeannette Walbert.

State Police will hold a press conference at 11:30 a.m. at the Bethlehem Barracks according to this report.

The Alburtis women were slain in their home March 11.

Alburtis native, Althea Walbert, 82, was known as a generous, wealthy and at least slightly eccentric  -- yet very much beloved -- member of the community. She was the constant companion to her daughter, Jeannette, 59, who had special needs.

The shocked community is still waiting for answers.
