Hearing Tuesday for Breinigsville Woman in 'Ride for Adam' Case

Charmaine Lynn McKelvey, of Breinigsville, is charged with stealing from the 'Ride for Adam,' which raises money for a foundation for treatment and research of Niemann-Pick Type C disease. The preliminary hearing is set for Tuesday.

A preliminary hearing is set on Tuesday for Charmaine Lynn McKelvey of Breinigsville, who has been charged with theft and other offenses for allegedly stealing $23,580 from the according to the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office.

The hearing is slated for 1:45 p.m. in front District Judge Jacob Hammond in South Whitehall Township.

McKelvey, 43, of 8657 Breinigsville Road is charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition, receiving stolen property and theft by failure to make required disposition of funds -- all third-degree felonies, according to the Lehigh County District Attorney's office.
