Police Seek Witnesses in Two Crashes

Upper Macungie police ask for information in two-vehicle Route 100 crash and hit-and-run on Cobbler Drive.

Upper Macungie police are looking for witnesses to two crashes in the township.

The first accident happened Sunday morning at Route 100 and Industrial Drive when Christopher Wisk, 41, of Easton, was crossing Route 100. Another driver, Molly Schultz, 20, of Mertztown, lost control of her car on a snow-covered Route 100 and collided with Wisk.

Schultz's vehicle sustained serious damage and was towed. She was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest for observation. Wisk was unhurt and his vehicle was driven from the scene.

The second crash was a hit-and-run that happened near 1312 Cobbler Lane between Saturday and Sunday morning. Police say a vehicle parked at the home was hit by an unknown driver.

Anyone with information on either crash is asked to call police at 484-661-5911.
