Police Investigating Two Hit and Run Crashes

Upper Macungie police are looking for witnesses to two hit-and-run crashes.

Upper Macungie police are investigating a pair of hit-and-run crashes that happened Friday in the township.

The first accident happened around 8:45 a.m., when Elizabeth Egan, of Breinigsville, was stopped at a light at Mill Creek Road and the Route 22 bypass when she was hit from behind by a grey vehicle.

Police say the other driver drove off when the light turned green. No injuries were reported, and the damage to Egan's vehicle was minor.

The second incident happened between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. in the 100 block of Wyndham Drive, when a white vehicle ran into a mail box.
