The majority of the calls were traffic citations.
Upper Macungie Police recently released its monthly incident and activity report for January:
- Total incidents: 724
- Reportable MVAs: 15
- Non-reportable MVAs: 29
- Criminal arrests (non-DUI): 7
- DUI: 10
- Traffic citations: 535
- Non-traffic citations: 8
- Parking tickets: 1
Arrests:
- DUI: 10
- Theft by deception: 1
- Drug Act violation: 3
- Robbery: 1
- Aggravated assault: 1
- Simple Assault: 1
- False Alarms: 5
