Pedestrian Hit by Car and Injured in Fogelsville

A Connecticut man was hit by a car on Main Street and taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Upper Macungie police said.

A 48-year-old Connecticut man was struck by a car and injured Wednesday as he walked across the entrance to 7720 Main St. in Fogelsville, Upper Macungie police said.

Christopher Bosnyak, of Hamden, Conn., was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest by Cetronia ambulance. The extent of his injuries was not immediately known, police said.

Police said Andrew Pollock, 23, of Allentown, was the driver of a car that turned left into the 7720 Main St. and struck Bosnyak. The driver was not injured.

The accident occurred at 5:24 p.m.
