Student Allegedly Stabs Classmate with Syringe: A Parkland High School student stabbed a classmate in the leg with a syringe while they were eating lunch in the cafeteria, South Whitehall police said.

: Easton police say a Phillipsburg man tried to set a mobile home on fire, with three people inside, including a 2-year-old girl. William C. Hubbard, 46, went to the mobile home in Easton, and when he couldn't get in, allegedly poured gasoline on the home and said to those inside, "Do you smell that? You're all going to burn."

: Salisbury Township police shot and killed a stray pit bull Monday after it mauled two people and a dog and lunged at the officers, according to police. The 6-year-old cockapoo that was attacked had to undergo four hours of emergency surgery after suffering puncture wounds and a broken jaw, its owner said.

Alleged Underage Drinking Party at School Director's House: Twelve people, including two from Fogelsville and three from Orefield, were cited for underage drinking at a Feb. 3 party at a Weisenberg Township home, state police at Fogelsville said. The alleged underage drinking took place at 4542 Senny Court, which, according to a report in The Morning Call, is the home of Northwestern Lehigh School Board Vice President LeRoy Sorensen.

She didn’t know his last name and wasn’t sure how he was related, but a Palmer Township woman told police she suspected the family member had stolen $600 when he visited her home on two days in November.

 A Coopersburg Borough man allegedly stole his mother's ATM card out of her purse and used it to withdraw more than $900.
