NJ Man Assaulted Fogelsville Hotel Worker, Police Say

Upper Macungie police say restaurant worker was attacked in August.

Upper Macungie police have filed charges against a New Jersey man accused of assaulting a Fogelsville Hotel employee in August.

Matthew Marquart, 29, of East Rutherford, was charged Wednesday with simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

According to police, the assault happened early on the morning of Aug. 4, with Marquart allegedly attacking a restaurant worker, causing facial injuries.

He was arraigned at Lehigh County Central Booking and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
