[Update] Man Allegedly Assaults 2 Upper Macungie Police Officers

The following information was supplied by Upper Macungie Police. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

 

Updated Jan. 27:

A 21-year-old man allegedly assaulted two Upper Macungie police officers responding to a call of a disturbance at 393 Natalie Drive in Upper Macungie, township police said in a release.

Thomas J. Patton was arraigned on two counts of aggravated assault on police officers, resisting arrest and related charges. Bail was set at $75,000.

Police said the man was combative when they arrived at 2:14 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, and allegedly assaulted the two officers. Police said he was taken into custody with the aid of additional officers and transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital for treatment.
