Lock Your Cars, Upper Macungie Police Warn

Police respond to six weekend vehicle thefts in Breinigsville.

Upper Macungie police are reminding residents to keep their cars locked following a series of thefts from vehicles.

According to police, officers responded to six theft-from-vehicle reports Saturday along Breinig Run Circle in Breinigsville.

In some cases, items were stolen from the vehicles. In other cases, the vehicles were entered but nothing was taken, police say.

Witnesses spotted two Hispanic teenagers, police say, both wearing hooded sweatshirts, walking through the neighborhood around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police ask residents to report any suspicious information. Last week, police reported three men trying to break into cars along Evergreen Court.
