Lock Your Cars, Upper Macungie Police Tell Residents

Thefts from unlocked vehicles continue to plague Upper Macungie.

Upper Macungie Police are asking residents to remember to lock their vehicles after the latest in a series of thefts from unlocked cars around the township.

The latest incident happened sometime between the evening Oct. 21 and the morning of Oct. 22 on the 8700 block of Turkey Ridge Road.

Police say a resident reported having a Sony car radio stolen.

Earlier this month, police responded to six thefts from unlocked vehicles on Breinig Run Circle. And this isn't a new problem in the township.

Police issued warnings to residents last May after responding to four thefts in a single day.

Anyone who spots unusual activity is asked to call police at 484-661-5911.
