LCTI Locked Down After Nearby Gun Crime

Lehigh Career and Technical Institute was locked down as a precaution following report of an armed home invasion nearby

Lehigh Career and Technical Institute students were dismissed on time according to their regular schedule on Monday afternoon after the school was locked down as a precaution, according to an announcement posted on the LCTI website at 2:25 p.m.

The school was locked down for several hours after report of a nearby armed robbery under investigation by state police.

High school students from across Lehigh County including Parkland School District attend classes at LCTI. School officials and police are monitoring access to LCTI to keep students safe.
