Hit-and-Run Driver Found, Police Say

Upper Macungie Police say they have located and charged the driver and owner of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident last Saturday on Hamilton Boulevard in Breinigsville.

Upper Macungie Police say they have found the driver and the owner of a car involved in a hit-and-run accident Saturday on Hamilton Boulevard in Breinigsville.

Police said Esteban Ortiz, 48, of Allentown, was driving the 1995 Dodge Durango that collided with a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Charles Sluzenski IV, 26, of Breinigsville.

Police said the Durango left the scene at the time, heading west on Hamilton Boulevard.

Police say they charged Ortiz with leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license.

Police also charged the passenger, and the car's owner, Martin Bermudez-Gonzalez, 45, of Allentown, with not having insurance.

Police said the Durango was located with the help of a citizen.
