Kutztown girl dead after falling from second floor window
A 9-year-old girl from Kutztown died Thursday after falling from a second floor window at 15620 Kutztown Road.
Michaela E. Downes was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital at 10:43 p.m. Thursday.
The Lehigh County coroner has ruled the death an accident.

The girl was playing with siblings when she lost her balance and fell out of an open screened window about 18 feet onto concrete, according to a Morning Call report. She suffered severe head injuries.
