The Upper Macungie Police Department will be accepting expired drugs on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Upper Macungie Police Department will be accepting expired drugs on Saturday, Oct. 26  from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Upper Macungie Police Department will participate in the seventh National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the department's 37 Grim Road headquarters.

Police will be accepting expired prescription drugs from Upper Macungie residents during that time.

The Drug Enforcement Administration's National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposal, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of these medications.
