Fireworks Lit Off Inside Hopewell Drive Mailbox
Police say vandals damaged a mailbox at Upper Macungie home with fireworks.
Shooting off fireworks on New Year's Eve is one thing.
Light them off in a mailbox and the police get involved, like they did in Upper Macungie Wednesday morning.
Township police say that's what happened sometime last night at a home on the 400 block of Hopewell Drive. Police say someone lit some fireworks and left them inside the home's mailbox, causing damage.
