Fake Prescription Try Thwarted, Police Say

Anyone with information on the alleged prescription fraud at the Rite Aid pharmacy in Fogelsville is asked to contact Upper Macungie Police.

Upper Macungie Police are searching for a woman who attempted to fill a fake prescription for Oxycodone Tuesday at the Rite Aid pharmacy in Fogelsville, police said.

Police said the woman, in her late 20s or early 30s, left the fraudlent prescription with a pharmacist at about 2 p.m. and said she would return for it. She left the drug store before police arrived.

Police ask that anyone who may have seen the woman leave the drug store or have any information regarding this contact them at 484-661-4922.
