Upper Macungie police say a woman looking at her cellphone GPS crashed into another driver.

Upper Macungie police say a Williamsport woman was checking her cell-phone when she ran a stop sign Tuesday and crashed into another driver.

According to police, Courtney Shearer was looking at the GPS on her phone when she went through the stop sign at Schantz and Independent roads.

Police say Shearer's vehicle collided with another, driven by William Stalgerwald, of Kutztown.

Shearer was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, with complaints of pain. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
