Distracted Driving Leads to 3-Car Crash, Police Say
No injuries reported in three-car crash on Hamilton Boulevard.
Upper Macungie police say a distracted driver caused a three-car, chain reaction crash Monday on Hamilton Boulevard.
Police say Sharisse Brutto, 32, of Macungie was headed east on Hamilton, got distracted, and hit Kris Smith, 51, of Allentown from behind.
That pushed Smith's vehicle forward, causing it to collide with Darren Butz, 20, of East Texas.
No one was hurt, but all three cars were towed, police said.
