Coroner: Man's Body Found, Death 'Suspicious'

Authorities said the body was found along Applewood Drive.

The body of an unidentified man was found along Applewood Drive, just outside  Upper Macungie in South Whitehall, and the Lehigh County coroner is calling the death "suspicious."

Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim said the man was pronounced dead at 9:51 a.m. on Tuesday.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 2, to determine the cause and manner of death.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity on Applewood Drive between 6 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. is asked to call South Whitehall police at 610-437-5252.

Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin is assisting in the investigation.
