Breinigsville Woman Victim of $1,100 ID Theft, Police Say

Upper Macungie Police say they are investigating an identity theft case of a Breinigsville woman who had a Comcast cable account opened in her name in Philadelphia.

Upper Macungie Police say a Breinigsville woman reported Wednesday that a fraudulent Comcast cable account was opened in her name in Philadelphia.

Police say the woman was made aware of the identity theft when the people who opened the account defaulted on an $1,100 bill for Comcast services rendered. 

Police say they are investigating the incident.
