Hotel Manager Threw Cigarette at Guest, Police Say

Upper Macungie Police say Jessenia Mateo, 35, of Allentown, harassed a guest during a room rate dispute.

Upper Macungie Police say a Best Western hotel manager was cited for harassment Sunday after allegedly throwing a cigarette in the face of a guest during a room rate dispute.

Police said Jessenia Mateo, 35, of Allentown was cited for harassment after police responded to a disturbance call at the Best Western Hotel at 5650 Tilghman St.

Police say Mateo threw a cigarette in the face of a woman guest during a verbal argument in the hotel lobby. The victim was not injured and refused medical treatment. Police said the citation was issued on the scene.

Harassment: Police said Christopher Wilcox, 39, of Allentown will be cited for harassment following a dispute Saturday night at 8825 Turkey Ridge Road, Breinigsville.

The victim said Wilcox allegedly choked her and held her arms behind her back, causing pain, according to police.

Vandalism: Police are investigating vandalism to cars that occurred Saturday night in the 400 block of Daniel Street.

Police said several vehicles had eggs smashed on them and another car was keyed, which resulted in a large scratch.
