Argument Leads to Weapons Charge, Police Say

Upper Macungie Police said an officer first spotted a man and woman fighting Tuesday afternoon in the area of Blue Barn Road.

Upper Macungie Police say an Allentown man was charged with weapons possession and disorderly conduct following a Sept. 10 argument.

Police said Jonathan Duch, 51, of Allentown was seen fighting with Jacklyn Hein, 32, of Allentown at about 1 p.m. on Tilghman Street, near Blue Barn Road.

Police said Duch was allegedly carrying a weapon that served "no legitimate purpose."

Police said Duch was charged with carrying prohibited offensive weapons and disorderly conduct. Hein was charged with disorderly conduct, police said. 

Police did not provide a description of the weapon.

An Upper Macungie police officer on routine patrol had spotted the two fighting.
