$4K Demanded from Breinigsville Man, Police Say

Upper Macungie Police say a Breinigsville man received a phone call from someone who claimed to be an IRS agent and demanded money.

Upper Macungie Police say a Breingsville man received a phone call Monday from someone posing as an Internal Revenue Service agent, demanding nearly $4,000 in back taxes.

The victim said the caller told him to pay $3,991.35 or face arrest for tax fraud, police say.

Upper Macungie Police say that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
