$40 in Items Stolen From Car, Police Say

Also, two escape injury Tuesday in a tractor trailer/car accident.

Upper Macungie Police say $40 worth of items were reported stolen from an unlocked car at 8943 Breinig Run Circle in Breinigsville on March 28.

Police said the items were taken anytime between 6 p.m. March 27 to 6 a.m. March 28.

Accident: Two people escaped injury Tuesday afternoon when a tractor trailer rear-ended a car at the Route 222 bypass and Grange Road.

Police said the accident occurred at approximately 2:40 p.m., when a car driven by Joseph Kibler Jr. slowed down for a red light and was struck from behind by a truck driven by Sukhwinde Singh.

Police said no injuries were reported and neither vehicle needed towing.
