2 Hurt in Schantz Road Crash, Police Say

Upper Macungie Police say two men were taken to the hospital after an accident on Schantz Road.

Upper Macungie Police said two men were injured following a rear-end accident on Schantz Road, in the vicinity of Dietrich Road.

Police say a car driven by Robert Lombardo, 47, of Newark, N.J., slowed down on Schantz Road to allow for a car in front of his to make a turn onto Dietrich Road at approximately 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. 

Police said Lombardo's car was hit from behind by a car driven by Antonion Deleon-Beltrie, 33, of Reading.

Police said both men complained of pain and were transported to the hospital by Cetronia EMS.

Police are still investigating the accident.
