Trojans Football Hand Whitehall its First Loss

The Parkland Trojans (4-1) defeated the Whitehall Zephyrs (4-1) 21-12 Friday night in Orefield. There was a delay at the game due to a power failure, and there was approximately a ten minute wait for the opening kickoff. The Zephyrs started strong with a very good kick return and then a touchdown on their first drive. They missed the extra points on both of their touchdowns, which would have made it a one score game with a chance to tie in the fourth quarter. The Trojans rebounded from the opening drive and led at the half, 7-6. The Zephyrs took the lead shortly into the third quarter, but the Trojans almost exclusively ran the ball to victory in the second half.
