Tell Us: Are You Optimistic About 2012?

Recent poll shows hope springs eternal after a tough year.

Poll results released shortly before the dawn of 2012 show Americans are very optimistic going into the new year.

According to an Associated Press survey:

  • 62 percent who responded say they’re optimistic about what 2012 will bring for the country.
  • 78 percent say they are personally hopeful about the year ahead.

A poll by ABC news showed:

  • 75 percent who responded are optmistic about their prospects this new year, with fewer people feeling positive about the future of our country and the world.

With so much of the true colors of Republicans showing, their disarry, favoritism for the "1%, filling their pockets," failing the rest of us, I'm happy that Obama will have a very solid Democratic team, with only the most earnest of Republicans included, to REALLY get things done, and build a nation we can really feel good about. However, let's all hope that the tense areas, like Iran & Korea, can be assuaged peacefully, & equittably.

I'm in the 54%.... THE 54% paying federal taxes. You slackers are looking for more handouts from the "Democrats". Here's a tip... state and local govs are going to go broke. The gig is up..... defaults will lead to government canning the over priced pension plans the democrats handed out to buy union votes.
