Scott Ridgway Named 2013 Corner Bakery Cafe’s Franchise Operating Partner of the Year

The Rose Group, a leading franchisee of Applebee's Grill & Bar and Corner Bakery Cafe, is pleased to announce Scott Ridgway, Director of Operations, as the recipient of the first annual Franchise Operating Partner of the Year Award at the 2013 Corner Bakery Convention. This award recognizes an operating partner who has led and developed his or her cafes to exceed goals in the following categories: Sales increase, BIC, CORE evaluations and SAFE and Java City BSA.

“Scott has been with us since the beginning. He’s watched us grow as a brand and we’ve watched him grow into a savvy Corner Bakery Cafe operator. He took on the challenge of running some of our very first franchised cafes, grew the market for these restaurants and developed strong methods for his teams to deliver on the brand’s promise to our valued guests,” said John LeBarge, award presenter and Vice President of Franchise Business. “Through the work he did with his team, Scott set the bar for CORE evaluations, receiving some of the highest scores among our partners. Scott Ridgway began his career at T.G.I. Friday’s where he worked for ten years as a General Manager. Mr. Ridgway joined The Rose Group in 1998 as a General Manager and was quickly promoted to Area Director in 2001. In 2006, he was named Executive Area Director where he was responsible for the operations of several Applebee’s units. In 2005, Mr. Ridgway was honored with the “Area Director of the Year” Award. Two short years later, Mr. Ridgway was promoted to his current position as Director of Operations of Corner Bakery Cafe concept for CB Rose, L.P.
