Sandra Miller: Fogelsville Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary Member [Obituary]

Sandra L. Miller, 56 years, of Fogelsville, lost her courageous battle with cancer on Monday, December 23, 2013 at ManorCare in Allentown. She was the wife of Roger R. Miller for 38 years this past November. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Helen V. (Kulp) Sandt.

She graduated in 1974 from Northwestern Lehigh High School and worked in retail at the Cracker Barrel restaurant, in Fogelsville, for 16 years. She was an active member of the Fogelsville Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, a proud supporter of Relay for Life of Upper Lehigh County, and loved playing bingo. Sandy was a member of Ziegels Lutheran Church in Breinigsville.

Survivors: husband, sons; John J. and wife Kimberly of Elkton, MD, Roy F. at home, brother, Norman “Butch” Sandt and companion Wilma Beltz of Slatington, sister, Carol “Dolly” and her husband Harold Glass of Lehighton, grandson, Nicholas A., nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Donald Kulp.

Services: 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 28, at Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville with the Rev. Bruce D. MacLaughlin officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:30 A.M. in the Church. Interment, Church cemetery. Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.
