Obituary: Cora G. L. Fleming, Antique Stand Operator

Cora G. L. Fleming, 91, of Breinigsville, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013 .

Cora G. L. Fleming, 91, of Breinigsville, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in the home of her daughter, Bonnie Fleming-Jacoby. She was the wife of the late Linford R. Fleming who passed away in 2009.  She was predeceased by her first husband Horace “Pete” LaRue, who served on the USS Yosemite, off the coast of Japan, after the bombing of Hiroshima. Cora was born in Pineville, Bucks County, a daughter of the late Russell R. and Laura Gill (Krewson) German. She worked for Brown Brothers Auction in Buckingham, PA for 25 years before retiring in 1978. She operated an antique stand at Schupps Grove in Adamstown for many years. In addition to her love of antiques she enjoyed visiting with her family.

Survivors: son Ronnie R. LaRue and his wife Dee of Longmont, CO; daughter Bonnie L. wife of Richard Jacoby of Breinigsville; grandchildren, Alissa, Jeremy, Kelly Ann, Jennifer Kelly, Kim and Lori; great grandchildren, Kevin, Kirsten, Jacob, Oliver, Noah, Isabella, Duncan, Sage, Kylie, Jesse, Dylan, Andrew, and Bradley. A sister Doris Madison predeceased her.

Memorial service: 1 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Rd., P.O. Box 190 Breinigsville. A calling hour will begin at noon.
