Florence R. Geiger, 91, Retired Seamstress

Florence R. Geiger, 91 years, of Fogelsville, passed away Monday, December 30, 2013 at home.  She was the widow of Leon C. Geiger.  Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Lillie (Geist) Trexler.  

She was a seamstress for the former Cata Garment and R &F Dress in Emmaus.  Florence worked part time for the Zettlemoyer Auction Co. for several years.  

She was a member of the Schnecksville Senior Citizens.  Florence was a member of Ziegels Lutheran Church in Breinigsville where she was a member of the Ladies Aid.  

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara A. Moyer, with whom she resided, sons; Larry L. and wife Nancy, of Orefield, and Richard C. and wife Brenda of Hummelstown, grandchildren; Michael Moyer, Michele Quier, Jonathan and Dee Dee Geiger, Christina Saikus, and Timothy Geiger,  great grandchildren; Brieanne Moyer, Travis Verzino, Angela, Korrine, Rebecca, Amy,  and Greta Gieger, and nieces and nephews.  

Services will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, January 4 at Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville with the Rev. Bruce D. MacLaughlin officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M. in the Church.   Interment will be at Morgenland Cemetery in Orefield.  Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.
