Parkland Students Preparing For The Next Annual "Arts Festival"

Student volunteers and helpers will spend the beginning of May making final plans and tying up loose ends.

It’s that time of year again. The morning begins with the sun rising behind the dome of the Parkland High School rotunda entrance and ends with the sun setting behind the football fields. Every year, students, arts teachers and advisers, and parent volunteers gather to plan a full three days of wonderful artistic displays of pure, unaltered talent.

The festival covers six aspects of artistic work: Voice, Music, Film, Art, Dance, and Theatre. The setup of the festival consists of a truly hands-on experience by showing artists in action.
