September Report Card for Parkland Real Estate

The Real Estate Report Card for communities served by the Parkland School District showed nice strength again in September, continuing a winning streak that now stretches over a year.  56 homes are now ‘pending sale’ in the district, meaning an offer has been accepted on the home and it will be closing soon.  This is a nice increase over the previous year when only 38 homes were pending in the
district. 

The inventory of homes for sale continued to decrease with 67 new homes listed for sale in the month, compared to 82 a year ago and 94 last month.  This decreasing inventory is expected to continue for the next several months as some homeowners may be less likely to list their home for sale during the holiday months.  There are currently 60 homes for sale in the Parkland School District, a decrease from the 73 available at the end of August.
