Fink, local historian, will present a program entitled "A Patriotic Triumvirate: The History of Memorial Day, Flag Day and the Fourth of July." These three holidays are important to Americans' public memory, as they help citizens annually commemorate America's past. Come to the Historical Society, celebrate Flag Day, 2012 and learn about the history of these significant American celebrations. The Alburtis Lockridge Historical Society is located at 407 Franklin Street in Alburtis, Pennsylvania 18011 (the corner of Church & Franklin Streets). Light refreshments will be served afterwards in the Society's downstairs museum.
