Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley's 5th Annual Walk/Run to LIVE!

The Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley (PCFLV) proudly
announces its 5th Annual Walk/Run to LIVE! This muchloved event has become a favorite in both the
local running community as well as within the Lehigh Valley in general. While this event is a 5K walk
and an 8K run, it is also much, much more! It is a community “fun” day with music, clowns, food, raffles,
costumed characters, and a free Fun Run and obstacle course for the kids. This year’s fundraising goal
is $85,000.

Most importantly, it is a day to participate in being part of the community of love and support that The Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley provides for local children battling cancer and their
families. The monies raised through this event are used to fund both emotional and financial support for
these families. PCFLV provides these services to approximately 150 local families through art and music therapy programs; hospital and oncology clinic visits; family fun nights and parent date nights;
gas, grocery store, and hospital cafeteria gift card donations to families; annual programs like Big Top
Circus and Kick for Kancer; and much more.

The 5th Annual Walk/Run to LIVE! will take place on Saturday, April 12th at the Ironton Rail Trail in
Coplay, PA. Registration and packet pickup begins at 7:00am. Preregistration participants can pick up
race packets on April 10th and April 11th at the Coplay Park Pavilion. 8K Run begins at 8:30am, 5K
Walk begins at 9:00am, and the free kids’ event begins at 10:30am (registration required for kids’ event).
