Upper Macungie Township offices are closed. Banks and post offices are open. The U.S. financial markets and Parkland schools are closed.
Today is Good Friday, one of the most holy days on the Christian calendar.
Some businesses and government agencies are observing the holiday while others are open. Here is a list of what's open and what's closed today:
-- Upper Macungie Township offices are closed, however, garbage collection will occur as usual.

-- State offices are open. PennDOT spokesman Sean Brown said all motor vehicle services, including driver license centers, will observe normal operating hours.
